Private Pilot Draws Near

1/31/2009 12:00:00 AM

As I close in on my private pilot license we are still nearing the edge of our available funds. With the turmoil at work and the fact that if impacted I will receive no severance package the amount we can put toward the training ourselves is severely limited.

I have put together, with help from my flight instructor, a list of the remaining lessons and their cost.  After having sought input from Bridge to Missions we would ask you to consider sponsoring a lesson.

These lessons can be sponsored by groups (a family, a class, a church, a Sunday school class, a business, etc). and we would be happy to provide you with a DVD and any other materials which might help in raising the sponsorship funds.

My instructor, who is himself headed toward missionary aviation has offered to help video tape parts of the flights so sponsors can see what they have paid for.

Email Tony if you are interested in sponsoring a lesson.  Please include the lesson number you wish to sponsor, your contact information, and let me know if you would like a DVD or anything else that might help.

We would love to recognize sponsors on our site if the sponsor allows us to.

(All donations are tax deductible.)
